Vote McNutt

for Natrona County Commissioner

Rooted Here. Ready to Work.

Chad McNutt
2nd Term
Planning & Zoning
Commission

A Natrona County Neighbor,
Not a Career Politician

In 2013, Chad and his wife, Juli Anna, made Natrona County home with their young daughters, Georgia and Emie. They bought land, raised sheep, and built a life shaped by family, community, and hard work. Wyoming has given them a place to grow, enjoy, and put down deep roots.

Through his work in environmental planning and resource management, Chad McNutt has helped communities, land managers, tribal and local governments address complex issues involving water resources, land use, infrastructure, and long-term planning. Chad continues to serve his community through his work and on the Natrona County Planning and Zoning Commission.

What I'll Fight For

01

Economic Growth, Done Right

Casper is full of entrepreneurs and people who build things. County government should create the conditions for that to thrive, attracting investment and development that strengthens our tax base. But growth that shifts hidden costs onto residents, roads, or water infrastructure is not a win. Every major proposal deserves a hard look at what it actually delivers for Natrona County over the long term.

02

Protect Property Rights and Plan Ahead

Landowners, agricultural producers, and rural residents deserve a commissioner who reads the fine print, asks hard questions, and makes sure major land use decisions are made with full information and real public input. Not rushed through without scrutiny.

03

Responsible Stewardship of County Resources

Roads, water, public safety, and infrastructure are the foundation everything else depends on. I'll prioritize the basics, scrutinize discretionary spending, and make sure county money works as hard as the people who paid it.

Natrona County Is at a Crossroads

"My three years on Planning and Zoning Commission have shown me the importance of asking tough questions, evaluating issues carefully, and thinking beyond the next news cycle."

Natrona County faces important decisions involving growth, infrastructure, water resources, and economic development. As someone who lives in unincorporated Natrona County, these decisions are personal. They affect where my family lives, the roads we drive, and the future of the community we call home.

I'm not running to build a political career. I'm running because my family loves the life we have here, because these decisions matter, and because I want to help get them right.

Where Chad Stands

💧

Water Resources

Water is central to life and livelihood in Wyoming. Chad believes county decisions that affect local water resources deserve careful review and that residents should have a meaningful voice in that process.

🛣️

Roads and Infrastructure

County roads connect families, support commerce, and make emergency response possible. Chad believes keeping roads safe and maintained is a core responsibility of county government and will work to make sure infrastructure needs are properly prioritized.

💰

Responsible Use of Tax Revenue

County budgets involve real tradeoffs, and Natrona County is no different. Chad believes commissioners should spend public money the way residents spend their own: carefully, on what matters most, with an eye toward the long term. A stronger local economy means more resources to work with, which is why responsible growth and good stewardship go hand in hand.

🏔️

Public Lands and Outdoor Recreation

Chad is an outdoorsman who spends as much time as he can on Casper Mountain. He thinks it's one of the great assets of this community and believes the county should stay engaged on land access and recreation questions to keep those opportunities available for future generations.

🚑

Public Safety

Residents across Natrona County, including those in rural areas, rely on effective public safety services. Chad believes funding decisions for law enforcement, fire response, and other emergency response should reflect actual community needs and that the people doing that work deserve proper support.
